Handing Instructions
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as chemical resistant gloves, overalls and eye/face protection to protect against splashes. If in doubt, speak to your PPE supplier and show them this label/ product, or call us for further advice. Avoid breathing fumes. Spirits of Salt is corrosive to most common metals including enamelled and stainless steel surfaces. Also avoid direct contact with chrome fittings such as plug holes, toilet seat fittings etc. For most applications use about 500ml. Allow to work for 20-30 minutes only, then wash down with copious amounts of water. For some applications, a plastic funnel may be the most effective way of introducing Spirits of Salt direct to the point of treatment. Not suitable for wash basins, baths, showers or kitchen sinks. FOR EXTERIOR USE: Removes excess cement from new facing bricks. If using on coloured stone, test for colour fastness first. Do not use on tarmacadam or marble/limestone surfaces. Rinse treated areas thoroughly with water afterwards.

Dispose of contents/container to hazardous or special waste collection point, in accordance with local, regional, national and/or international regulation.

There must be lots of restrictions on the transport of this cleaner, which is very acidic. Thank you for offering a pair of bottles as one item. This will last us over a year and our usual sources have raised their P&R prices. We use it to clean toilet bowls.
