I had soldiered on for years with a cheap pair of loppers but went 'one sharpening too far' so the blade wouldn't meet the anvil! What a difference with these; I only wish I'd bought them years ago. Trying to save money and not realising how hard I had to work. These go through everything I have tried like a dream. Having decided on the make and model Lawson's were the cheapest.

Several containers needed protection, and I thought the tape might be double sided i.e. to stick on rather than tie on, giving better adhesion, I bought DS tape and stuck Barrier on top of that which of course worked out more expensive in the end
