My old Magimix went bust so I went for a replacement that uses the same parts, so I can keep using my old accessories. I was pleased to see that the local chain had it in stock - quick local delivery! And surprisingly the freebie from Magimix (bread cloche) arrived quite promptly - I thought I'd probably have to wait a long time for that.

Great service as usual. One of the items was out of stock this time, but after an email from them, a replacement was quickly provided.
Has the previous version of this a few years ago, now the paddle does not get stuck in the loaf but the quantity and freshness of the yeast together with water temperature are critical. We had a couple of flat loaves at first then discovered the yeast was a few months old, still in its use by date but that was the problem.
First time that we have dealt with Lawsons and its a pleasure to use a small West Country business that has moved with the times and can offer a service and price to more than rival the big boys.
