This mechanical timer is just what my elderly mum needs : easy to set and with a good loud ring. Nicely built too.
The first product I received (Salter mechanical kitchen timer) was faulty and did not work at all. This was not Lawsons' fault as it was packaged and unopened. I was very impressed with the way they recovered the situation : a working replacement (tested before despatch) was with me within 48 hours, no questions asked and no need to return the original.
