I didn’t realise that that I could submit a review of the customer service separately so this is a repetition of what I said when reviewing my Gourmet food mixer. I placed my order on a Sunday. On the Monday I had a phone call from Lawsons asking whether I needed the outer packaging to be plain, which I might if it was a gift, or if it was o.k. to send it in a box which had a printed description of the contents. Very friendly and considerate. My purchases arrived less than 24 hours later. I was impressed with the excellent customer service. I had not shopped with Lawsons before. I came across the website by chance. I hope to shop with them again in the future.
I’m delighted with this mixer. I bought it to replace a thirty year old mixer which had broken down. The Gourmet does everything my old mixer did but better. The suction feet make it very secure on the worktop and quieter than my old one. The attachments are easy to fit. Excellent value. (The modern equivalent of my old mixer costs well over £400.) The product was exactly as described, well packaged and I will be recommending it to friends. I hadn’t shopped with Lawson’s before I came across them by chance online. I placed my order on a Sunday and received my purchases on the Tuesday. Very impressed with the customer service provided by Lawsons as they had phoned me on the Monday to check if I needed my food mixer in plain outer packaging, in case it was a gift, rather than a box that had a printed description of the contents. I was expecting 100 cocktail sticks. The pack actually contained 150 + so it was excellent value.
unlike other online sites this retailer has not taken advantage of the demand for gardening items and is selling at realistic prices
