Allister is originally from South Devon, and brings to the South Sands Hotel his decades of experience working in London, including at Harrods, Le Meridien and Hilton. The lure of fresh beach-side produce and divine country living brought him home.
His dishes look stunning on the plate but can also be easily comprehended by the diner, which creates Allister’s simplistic, understandable style.
Allister and his team are working closely with the local community to position the South Sands Hotel as a stand-out destination hotel and beach-side restaurant that specializes in fine wine and wholly memorable, sensational dining.
