One of the most respected and knowledgeable seafood people in the country, Mitch has multiple restaurants and cookbooks to his name. He's also involved in an academy scheme at South Devon College, training the next generation of aspiring chefs and inspiring them to support the local fishing industries.

Mitch has won many awards and accolades, including won the Observer’s ‘Best UK Restaurant’ for his Seahorse restaurant in Dartmouth, ‘Best Independent Restaurant’ at the National Fish & Chip Awards for Rockfish, and ‘Best Fish Book’ at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards for Fresh. He's often seen on lists of inspirational foodies and entrepreneurs, is a regular on TV shows, and provides chef consultancy services to a wide range of organisations.
