As chef consultant and proprietor of The Devon Scone company, Richard supplies artisan Devon scones throughout the UK. He also appears as a guest teacher at local cookery schools, and works as a consultant to a variety of local food businesses.

Richard has a passion for using local, seasonal produce and takes great pride in the opportunities he has for training the next generation of chefs. He can often be seen showcasing the best of the South West at food festivals throughout the UK, and on television and radio.

Richard has managed many establishments throughout the UK, from exclusive private clubs to central London hotels, and was Executive Chef of the 4-star Grand Hotel in Torquay for 5 years.

A member of the prestigious Academy of Culinary Arts and the Craft Guild of Chefs, Richard is also a Master Chef of Great Britain.
