Richard trained at City College Plymouth, and began his career here working under the legendary Jacques Marchal. After several years in the region's leading restaurants and other large establishments, Richard and his wife Angela set up their own restaurant in 2007.
They've won many awards, including a listing in the Michelin Guide and 2015-16 'Best Business in Exeter'. The menu specialises in the finest local beef, fish and seafood, with local game and poultry when in season, and offers a well-stocked bar and interesting wine list.
